At Fredd, we are committed to providing the gold standard of home connectivity. To ensure we continue delivering the speed, reliability, and innovation you demand, we are implementing a series of strategic enhancements to our Fibre-To-The-Home (FTTH) service.
Effective 1 June 2026, we are rolling out significant speed increases across our network. While we have adjusted our pricing to account for growing infrastructure and operational costs, we have focused on a “Value-First” approach—keeping the average price adjustment to a minimal 2.5% while delivering a significant 23% average increase in speed.

- Automatic Upgrades: All speed increases will take effect automatically on 1 June 2026. You do not need to take any action; the upgrade will be pushed to your line remotely.
- Economic Support: To assist our customers during the current economic climate, we are absorbing all increased costs for our entry-level 30 Mbps package, ensuring it remains at R 745.00 while still receiving a speed boost.
- XGSPON Technology: Our high-performance tiers (2,500 Mbps – 10,000 Mbps) continue to offer industry-leading speeds at unchanged price points, providing the ultimate experience for high-demand households.
